In preparation for the Christmas Bird Count, Keith Bruno, Audubon Rockies Community Naturalist , will review the bird species that we might spot on count day.  This class will cover waterfowl.  Learn how to distinguish those tricky females that resemble each other.  These free classes are open to the public.

We will be meeting in person at the Community United Methodist Church at 434 Lewis St.  In appreciation for our meeting place, we will be collecting donations (non-perishable food or cash) to contribute to the church Food Pantry.

Sign-up sheets for participation in the Christmas Bird Count on December 18 will be available at the meeting.  We will also have membership forms if you wish to join our Weminuche Audubon Society chapter.
