SUMMARY:Earth Day Celebration
DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, April 23\, several local organizations will set up along the Riverwalk between 10 AM and 1 PM in the area of the GGP domes to celebrate the earth. The theme of this year’s celebration is “Invest In Our Planet”.  Weminuche Audubon\, Audubon Rockies and Pagosa Wetland Partners will set up near our native plant garden.\nPagosa Wetland Partners’ celebrated Riverwalk Naturalist guides are offering 2 tours along the geothermal wetlands during the Earth Day celebration on April 23.  Meet your naturalist guides at the Audubon Native Plant Garden. The free tours will begin at 10 AM and 1 PM.  Come early as Pagosa Wetland Partners will have more information about the tours and PWP activities and to enjoy all things Audubon.\nThe tour will last 1-1.5 hrs. It is wheelchair accessible. Benches are available to rest along the paved 1.5 mile path (roundtrip). Please bring water\, sunglasses\, a hat\, and your curiosity.  Camera and/or binoculars are suggested. And please do not bring your dogs. If questions\, send to pagosawetlands@gmail.com
